Phuoc Long (Vietnamese: Phước Long), is a district (huyện) of Bac Lieu Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.
Phuoc Long district was once a part of the old Minh Hai province and was established on December 29, 1978, with 19 communes and 1 town and district in Hong Dan on May 17, 1984.
However on September 25, 2000 the district was separated from Hong Dan district.
As of 2004 the district had a population of 106,000. The district covers an area of 404.8 km².
The district is divided into one township Phước Long and the communes of Phong Thạch Tây A, Phong Thạch Tây B, Vĩnh Phú Đông, Vĩnh Phú Tây, Hưng Phú and Vĩnh Thanh.
